Single, or twin shaft continuous mixers are mostly used for road and bridge constructions.
Continuous mixers has higher nominal capacity than usually single, or twin shaft batch mixers. The measuring and feeding of the admixtures is necessary to assure for these batches.
The nominal capacity of incessant mixers depends on the parameters of the mixer, and the type of the mixture. Capacities can be between 50 – 200 tonns per hour.
Admixtures are charged through a charging boot, at the backside of the roof. The mixing procedure of the admixtures are assured by the rotation of the shafts. The shafts towards the admixture to the discharging boot, at the front. The cured material on the trough wall serves as a wear protection. You just have to readjust the mixing tools from time to time. As an alternative we also offer hardcast tiles as wear protection or a rubber trough.
